Studio 55 Members

If you were a Studio 55 member immediately prior to our groups merging, we need your vote soon concerning dissolution and how to donate the funds held separately by Studio 55. Our proposal is to donate the funds to the Art Institute of Missouri, which is the nonprofit name under which Southwest Missouri Visual Arts Collective is doing business as. A small amount of money would be temporarily retained in the Studio 55 account in the event there are expenses (such as the closing of the Studio 55 website, which is underway). If you were a Studio 55 member, please if you can attend the November meeting so that we can take votes on this or you can vote by proxy (asking another group member to vote on your behalf). An email will be sent to Studio 55 members before the November meeting with further details.

Our October Meeting

Many thanks to Heidi Herrman-Bacon and Janelle Patterson for their presentation about the Route 66 Centennial Sculptures project. What a major project that the artists participated in!
